The current plan is to commence operations summer of 2025.

After Phase One is complete, the ride will be approximately 2,800 ft for a roughly 9 minute ride.
After Phase Two is complete, the ride will be approximately 6,000 ft for a roughly 16 minute ride.

The average speed is no more than medium-walking speed.

The train ride is very safe! Before each departure, there will be an announcement explaining the riding rules.
There will also be a railroad volunteer who will monitor the riders from the rear of the train and will stop the train if necessary.

The minimum age to ride single (without an adult) is 12 years old.

The KCRHA is hoping to have an approved wheelchair car available that will need an additional non-handicap rider to be with the handicap ride.

Only qualified engineers will operate the train.

Our regular locomotives are battery powered with each having 4 deep/cycle batteries.

Each family (two or more family members) and each rider without a family will receive a time ticket.
Once all riders with tickets have had a trip, another ticket will be issued for additional rides.

To start with, only portable toilets will be available. Concessions are planned in our 2nd year of operations.
